The Gujarat Technological University, commonly known as GTU, is a statewide institution affiliating many respected engineering, pharmacy, and management colleges and varsities across the western Indian state of Gujarat. It is basically located in Ahmedabad. The university is head by the state government and came into existence on the 16th of May, 2007. Earlier, The University was the major university of Gujarat state heading all colleges including technical colleges. To ensure more proficient and systematic imparting of technical education, the state government formulated GTU. Present Vice Chancellor of this premier university is Dr. A. K. Aggarwal. University always keeps the students updated by doing all the type of advancements in infrastructure. This also helps the students in their future career. GTU affiliates the institutes for the Diploma, Degree and Master of engineering courses consisting of Ph.D [Doctoral Programs] and Pharmacy courses for Bachelors and Masters, Management courses and MCA. University also conducts many international programs for the students as well as staff. One of the international program is International Study Experience Program (IEP) or we can say Summer Internship Program.
